SassyPants Safety Policies

These guidelines help keep everyone safe, and equipment in good condition. Thank you in advance!

  • Please remove ALL jewelry prior to training. If you have a body piercing, please cover it with a piece of tape.
  • Warm-ups are required before you jump on silks. If you are late to class and miss our warm-up, you will need to warm yourself up for five minutes (and complete the aerial warm-up) before joining us.  If you do not have a vigorous, aerial-appropriate warm-up, I will happily provide one for you.
  • Participants are not allowed under any circumstance to teach other participants or anyone else any aerial acrobatics movement, pose, sequence, skill, etc. This is known as skill- trading or skill-sharing and is strictly prohibited.
  • Classes will be recorded on video.
  • Hair that is long enough to swing in front of the face must be secured back.
  • Clothing must be formfitting, and cover the armpits, back, abdomen, and backs of the knees.
  • Clothing cannot have zippers or buckles​.
  • Please bring water or a bottle for water.
  • If you see a potential safety issue, or have a concern, please bring it to the attention of the instructor immediately.
  • If you have a medical condition, injury, or are on a medication which may affect your participation, you must tell the instructor prior to participation.
